97 Percent of The Time, Chemotherapy Does Not Work And Continues To Be Used Only For One Reason

'Doctors and pharmaceutical companies make money from it. That's the only reason chemotherapy is still used. Not because it's effective, decreases morbidity, mortality or diminishes any specific cancer rates. In fact, it does the opposite.

Chemotherapy boosts cancer growth and long-term mortality rates. Most chemotherapy patients either die or are plagued with illness within 10-15 years after treatment. It destroys their immune system, increases neuro-cognitive decline, disrupts endocrine functioning and causes organ and metabolic toxicities.

Patients basically live in a permanent state of disease until their death. The cancer industry marginalizes safe and effective cures while promoting their patented, expensive, and toxic remedies whose risks far exceed any benefit. This is what they do best, and they do it because it makes money, plain and simple.'

Manuka Honey Effective Against Antibiotic Resistant MRSA

Manuka Honey Effective Against Antibiotic Resistant MRSA

'For years doctors have been overprescribing antibiotics. A University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine study found physicians commonly use antibiotics to treat hospitalized patients with acute viral respiratory track infections, in spite of the fact antibiotics are known to be ineffective for these infections.[i]

And the growing popularity of antibacterial soaps and hand sanitizers contributes to the saturation of the world in antibacterials.

As a result, many scientists have been warning of a possible medical catastrophe from an epidemic of antibiotic resistant superbugs. Fortunately, manuka honey may be a natural and ancient solution to a modern health disaster.'

Does “Oil Pulling” Offer Real Health Benefits?

http://www.andherlittledogtoo.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/tumblr_mmgc1x2gLw1qmk3s5o1_500.jpg

'I didn’t realize how trendy oil pulling was until I saw a story about it on my local news. Sure, I've heard alternative outlets talk about it for a while, but now it’s getting more mainstream.

Many people are touting the health benefits of oil pulling, claiming it treats conditions like diabetes, asthma, acne, and even allergies.

But what is the real scoop on this ancient practice? Is it really some kind of a “cure-all,” as it’s claimed to be?'

Halotherapy and Salt Rooms: Fresh Air For Lungs and Alternative Medicine

'Salt has been an essential, virtually omnipresent part of medicine for thousands of years. It has been used as a remedy, a support treatment, and a preventive measure. Salt can be taken internally or applied topically and continues to be administered in an exceedingly wide variety of forms.

Although popular and long established in Europe and many other countries, spelenotherapy and halotherapy are quickly catching on in America as powerful alternative and complementary medical modalities. Spelenotherapy is a method that uses the specific and unique properties of natural underground salt caves/mines to treat chronic and allergic respiratory disorders. Halotherapy involves salt aerosol inhalation and the use of saline solutions, typically utilizing a halogenerator.'

Is BPA Behind The Global Obesity Epidemic?

Is BPA Behind The Global Obesity Epidemic?

'Obesity is developing at an alarming rate even in developing countries. Maybe the global obesity epidemic has nothing to do with eating too much food. Research suggests the problem may be rooted in your food's packaging.

A Kaiser Permanente study has found that girls between 9 and 12 years of age with higher-than-average levels of bisphenol-A (BPA) in their urine had DOUBLE the risk of being obese compared to girls with lower levels of BPA.

Effectiveness of the Flu Vaccine against Influenza is a huge HOAX!

'I called my local pharmacy to find out who could get the shot. They told me I didn’t even need a doctor’s note. I asked if a pregnant woman could get the shot and they said that it wasn’t contraindicated, but some people ask for preservative free shots. I asked if I was feeling under the weather if I could still get the shot and the answer was “sure no problem.”

So it’s easy. No doctor’s note. All you need is insurance and if you don’t have it just $31.99 per shot – at least that’s the price at my local pharmacy. It didn’t even matter if you were sick you’re ready for your shot. It couldn’t be any simpler.

But a couple of things were missing – science and information.'

Diet soft drinks 'linked' to heart attacks, strokes and cardiovascular deaths, doctors say

'People who regularly have two or more diet soft drinks a day could be up to 50 per cent more likely to die from heart disease, a new study has shown.

Artificially sweetened fizzy drinks, though marketed as a viable healthy alternative, were linked to a host of health problems including strokes and heart attacks.

Compared to those who never or rarely consume the drinks, regular users were 30 per cent more likely to suffer what was described as a "cardiovascular event".'

The Cancer Industry: Failure, Lies and Big Profits

 http://www.davidicke.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/legacy_images/stories/Oct201295/image533637x.jpg

'If you or someone you love is diagnosed with cancer, it is in your best interest to consider a second opinion away from the mainstream of the cancer industry. Oncologists will insist and even demand your immediate acceptance of surgery, radiation and/or chemotherapy.

They will frighten you more than you already are with all kinds of horror tales and statistical babble, and even threaten you with not being your doctor anymore to keep you from seeking a second opinion outside of the cancer industry.  This is because they know that anyone hearing other options would never willingly submit to their expensive and horrendously toxic treatments that in most cases ruin health and shorten life.'

Manufacturing Madness: The Pseudoscience of Modern Psychiatry

'Twenty-six years have passed since Prozac, the antidepressant drug, was introduced to the US market and quickly achieved the label of a "wonder drug." In the decade that followed, other antidepressant drugs including paroxetine (Paxil), sertraline (Zoloft), fluvoxamine (Luvox), and citalopram (Celexa) would be released, creating an entire class of medications known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).

Since hitting the shelves, the popularity of SSRIs has skyrocketed. Today, 1 in every 10 Americans reaches for antidepressants daily.[1] This ratio jumps to an incredible 25% among women between the ages of 40 and 59.[2] Approximately 5% of children ages 12 to 19 are also taking antidepressants.[3]  Worldwide, mental illness is now the leading cause of disability among children.'

It's Official! Chocolate IS a Health Food

Post image for It’s Official! Chocolate IS a Health Food!

'A study released earlier this month looked at the effects of dark chocolate on the gut microbiome. Yikes! My two favorite subjects – chocolate and gut bacteria! Nirvana! The findings were presented at the 247th National Meeting & Exposition of the American Chemical Society (ACS) – and revealed that certain gut bacteria ferment the molecules of dark chocolate, producing polyphenolic compounds that are anti-inflammatory. This anti-inflammatory effect may reduce the long term risk of stroke.

This study was funded by Louisiana State College of Agriculture and a Louisiana AgCenter Undergraduate Research Grant. It is the first, ever, to look at the effects of dark chocolate on the microbial communities in the gut. According to John Finley Ph.D., who was the leader of the study,

When these compounds are absorbed by the body, they lessen the inflammation of cardiovascular tissue, reducing the long-term risk of stroke.'

U.S.: Two-Thirds of Doctors Favor Medical Marijuana In New Poll

MarijuanaSurveyWebMD

'More than two out of every three physicians in the United States -- 67 percent -- say that medical marijuana should be an option for patients, according to the results of a new WebMD/Medscape poll.

WebMD on Thursday released Marijuana on Main Street, a special report looking at the debate over medicinal cannabis. The site surveyed nearly 3,000 consumers and Medscape surveyed more than 1,500 doctors about their opinions on legalization, cannabis as a treatment option, and the perceived risks and benefits of its use.

"Despite more than 20 years of anecdotal evidence about the medicinal effects of marijuana, doctors and consumers remain in search of answers," said Dr. Michael Smith, chief medical editor at WebMD. "The findings of our consumer-physician survey indicate the medical community's support for the use of marijuana as a treatment option, particularly among clinical specialists that have pioneered research.'

'WHAT VITAMIN DO WE need in amounts up to 25 times higher than the government recommends for us to be healthy?

What vitamin deficiency affects over half of the population, is almost never diagnosed, and has been linked to many cancers, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, depression, fibromyalgia, chronic muscle pain, bone loss, and autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis?

What vitamin is almost totally absent from our food supply?

What vitamin is the hidden cause of so much suffering that is so easy to treat?

The answer to all of these questions is vitamin D.'

Turmeric Produces 'Remarkable' Recovery in Alzheimer's Patients

Turmeric Produces 'Remarkable' Recovery in Alzheimer's Patients

'Alzheimer's Disease: A Disturbingly Common Modern Rite of Passage

A diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease (AD), sadly, has become a rite of passage in so-called developed countries. AD is considered the most common form of dementia, which is defined as a serious loss of cognitive function in previously unimpaired persons, beyond what is expected from normal aging.

A 2006 study estimated that 26 million people throughout the world suffer from this condition, and that by 2050, the prevalence will quadruple, by which time 1 in 85 persons worldwide will be afflicted with the disease.

Given the global extent of the problem, interest in safe and effective preventive and therapeutic interventions within the conventional medical and alternative professions alike are growing.'

Personal Testimony: Cannabis Vs. COPD

 copd

'I first came across Jeff’s story in the group ‘Cannabis Oil Success Stories’, where he shared a link to an article written about him on the blog for Legalize Louisiana. In the article, and in the group, Jeff claimed to have cured himself of his Stage 3 COPD by ingesting a daily dose of cannabis oil. He was first officially diagnosed with scarred lung tissue and COPD five years ago.

Before he heard about the oil he was on several medications to help him cope with the side effects of the lung damage that results from the chronic bronchitis and other breathing issues that come with having the disease. He suffered constantly from severe chest and back pain and the inability to breathe (something called ‘air-hunger breathlessness’).

He was eventually put on oxygen. His health quickly deteriorated and he was informed by doctors that eventually the disease would kill him. After a bad reaction to a doctor prescribed medication resulted in spending a month on life support with a tracheotomy in the ICU, Jeff found new resolve to seek hope where his doctors gave him none.'

7 Ways To Stay Healthy While Traveling

 87968964

'As one who lives part of the year in a ‘third world’ country, staying healthy is on the top of my list. And especially when I’m traveling and encountering hundreds of other travelers while breathing recycled air and eating airplane ‘food.’ So, what is it that I do while traveling and then upon arriving at my destination to ensure optimal health?

I travel. A lot. And I’m not talking about easy and cozy travel to a nice little villa on the beach in San Martin. I’m talking about complicated, scared to miss a connection, wondering if my hotel will be picking me up at the airport, frightened my luggage will arrive in one piece without items stolen, kind of travel. A 14 hour travel day that involves three different flights with three different layovers. Only to be completed with a sweaty cab ride and a three stairs of flight climb with three 60 pound bags. And that’s only day 1!'

'New research reveals that consuming two or more cups of coffee each day reduces the risk of death from liver cirrhosis by 66%, specifically cirrhosis caused by non-viral hepatitis. Findings in Hepatology, a journal published by Wiley on behalf of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, show that tea, fruit juice, and soft drink consumption are not linked to cirrhosis mortality risk. As with previous studies heavy alcohol use was found to increase risk of death from cirrhosis.'

How To Avoid Cataract Surgery

How To Avoid Cataract Surgery

'Age-related cataracts are the leading cause of low vision and blindness throughout the world. Up to 30% of people over the age of 50 will develop them. By age 75, about 70% will have cataracts. Surgery to remove cataracts has become almost routine.

Cataracts develop when proteins build up in the lens of the eye making it cloudy. It happens with age and is primarily due to oxidative damage. Age-related cataracts are the result of a lifetime of molecular damage to the lens proteins by free radicals.

Can your diet make a difference? Studies to date haven't been conclusive. Animal studies have found that wheat grass reverses cataract damage. Human studies have found only a non-significant or modest association between fruit and vegetable intake and cataract risk.'

The Dangers of the Medical Industrial Complex

'YOUR DOCTORS THINK they make decisions based on medical evidence. But they don’t!

In fact, half of medical evidence is hidden from your doctors. And the half that’s hidden is the half that shows drugs don’t work.

The bad news is that drug companies are not policed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) the way they should be. A drug should be proven both effective and safe BEFORE it is prescribed to millions of people.

Sadly, that often isn’t the case.

Let me share with you two recent examples that highlight the dangerous collusion between drug companies and our government agency. They show why the FDA should really stand for “Federal Drug Aid.”'

Corn is Top Vegetable for Antioxidant Benefits

 S

'Corn has been downplayed and even ridiculed as being a food that has no nutritional benefits, but nothing could be further from the truth. Maize was the name native Americans gave to corn, and they lived long healthy lives with maize as the backbone of their diets. Now scientists have discovered the reason that made this possible – corn’s antioxidant benefits are astronomical!

Researchers at Cornell University have recently shown that corn contains many powerful phytonutrients (nutrients from plants) not previously discovered. Previous research assessed antioxidant power by measuring only the free form of phytonutrients. The Cornell team looked at the bound forms of phytonutrients released during digestion. What they found was absolutely stunning.'

The Vaccine Illusion: How Vaccination Compromises Our Natural Immunity and What We Can Do To Regain Our Health

The Vaccine Illusion: How Vaccination Compromises Our Natural Immunity and What We Can Do To Regain Our Health

'I know of many alternative health practitioners and even of a few pediatricians who have embraced the non-vaccination approach to health. However, I have yet to encounter one among my own kind: a scientist in the trenches of mainstream biomedical research who does not regard vaccines as the greatest invention of medicine.

I never imagined myself in this position, least so in the very beginning of my Ph.D. research training in immunology. In fact, at that time, I was very enthusiastic about the concept of vaccination, just like any typical immunologist. However, after years of doing research in immunology, observing scientific activities of my superiors, and analyzing vaccine issues, I realized that vaccination is one of the most deceptive inventions the science could ever convince the world to accept.'

Oncologists make big money from chemo drugs

THE BUSINE$$ OF CHEMO

Let’s follow the money:

'Treating cancer is this man’s occupation. It’s how he earns a living and provides for his family. Every cancer patient that walks in his office represents thousands of dollars of profit. He’s essentially a salesman selling his services with a very powerful sales pitch: “If you don’t do what I say, you’re going to die.”

We all know that fear is one of the best motivators there is, and this guy had me by the “you-know-whats.” Had I not already started to do research on my own, and already read other survivors testimonies; I probably would have done what most cancer patients do and schedule the chemo.
I wonder how many dollar signs he saw floating over my head that day…

According to the research of Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner of Freakonomics fame,”Oncologists are some of the highest paid doctors, their average income is increasing faster than any other specialist in the medical field, and more than half their income comes from selling and administering chemotherapy.”'

Dennis Hill's Story: Beating Prostate Cancer With Cannabis Oil

"Three years ago, after a prostate biopsy, I was given the diagnosis of aggressive Stage III adenocarcinoma. I didn’t know what to do. The urologist made appointments for me to start radiation, and maybe chemo. Then a friend told me cannabis cures cancer. It just so happened that the first human trials of cannabis treatment of astrocytomas (inoperable brain cancer), were published with encouraging results.

So I decided; rather than die from the medical treatment, I would do the cannabis cure. Now… where to get some. There was no dispensary in the area, but a friend made me cannabis butter, so I took that, up to tolerance. In three months the primary cancer was gone, only minor metastatic lesions were left.

At that point I found a supplier for Rick Simpson oil and killed off the metastases in the next three months.

Now I just take a maintenance dose of locally produced hash oil that is 1:1 THC:CBD with about a 30% potency. This will certainly keep me clear of cancer, anywhere, forever."

Who Knew Vegetable Gardens Could Be So Revolutionary?

http://www.hosowo.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Backyard-Vegetable-Garden-Ideas.jpg

'In the US, backyard vegetable gardens are still viewed mostly as a hobby – an activity that you can engage in to get away from your daily grind, get your hands dirty, and spend some time in nature.

But this is rapidly changing, thanks to a growing movement of people who are not only in love with the process of gardening but also the literal fruits of their labor.

Yes, homegrown food is fresher, tastier and, often, more nutritious than produce shipped from across the globe. But gardening is much grander than that, as it puts you in control of a commodity that is, at its very essence, survival, freedom, and health. Growing your own food is the way of the future, ironically, by getting back to our foundational roots of self-sufficiency and oneness with nature.'

Cancer treatment found in a tree

 http://img4.bulkherbstore.com/images/items/WebPau-D-Arco.jpg

'The Lapacho tree has been studied for many years by cultures around the globe. It is an evergreen tree from South America that produces a type of bark that has been claimed to cure or prevent cancer, along with other illnesses. The scientific name is Tabebuia avellanedae, and the tea that is made from this bark is often referred to as "Pau d'arco," though many alternative names have been used.

The University of Maryland found that this specific tea, or bark extract, has anticancer properties, as well as anti-inflammatory, antiparasitic, antifungal and antimicrobial properties. There has not been any well-known testing on humans, but studies have already proven that this particular bark provides a stimulation of immune system cells known as macrophages. Additionally, this bark has been reported to kill lung cancer cells and liver cancer cells that were grown and analyzed in a test-tube study.'

Train Your Brain To Let Go Of Habits – 10 Methods For Creating New Neural Pathways

‘When you understand how neural pathways are created in the brain, you get a front row seat for truly comprehending how to let go of habits. Neural pathways are like superhighways of nerve cells that transmit messages. You travel over the superhighway many times, and the pathway becomes more and more solid. You may go to a specific food or cigarettes for comfort over and over, and that forms a brain pathway. The hopeful fact, however, is that the brain is always changing and you can forge new pathways and create new habits. That’s called the neuroplasticity of the brain.

Health Secrets From Around The World

'There are many places around the world where people live longer and know how to be happier than the rest of us. Instead of depriving yourself, researchers say it’s better to look at cultures and regions around the world where diets are not just healthy, but also have highly protective qualities against scourges like cancerdepressiondiabetes and heart disease. There are time-tested lifestyles that promise to protect us from a wide range of diseases. The key is knowing why they work and how to adopt them yourself.

Researchers have long tried to understand why some regions are much healthier than others. Epidemiological studies have looked at disease rates in conjunction with environmental and eating patterns in order to understand which factors are the most influential. This started in earnest in the 1980s, when researchers began studying the Mediterranean diet and found that it had significant health benefits.'

Fibrocystic Disease, Breast Cancer & Brassieres

 Brassieres 2.jpg

'There is scientific support for the plausibility of connecting the use of bras with breast disease. Two published studies have shown that women who wear bras have much higher breast cancer rates than women who don’t wear a bra. Singer and Grismaijer, a husband and wife research team, published a study of almost 5000 women in the book Dressed to Kill: The Link Between Breast Cancer and Bras[1]

They found that the more hours per day that woman wear bras, the higher their rates of breast cancer. Their theory is that bras can bind and constrict the lymphatic circulation. This prevents the natural flushing out of accumulated cancer-causing wastes and toxins from the breast. Fluid pooling could then result in fibrocystic changes (benign lumps, cysts, and pain). This gives a breeding ground for various problems, including cancer.'
