Not Just for Cancer! Cannabis Works Wonders for Crohn’s Disease Too

'Medical marijuana or cannabis is making waves by healing cancer patients. But the threat posed by this natural healer goes further than the cancer industry. Cannabis is demonstrating real benefits to those with other diseases that mainstream medicine can’t remedy, starting with Crohn’s disease.

Crohn’s disease manifests with many debilitating symptoms that are autoimmune diseases in their own right. Crohn’s disease can even be lethal. Mainstream modern medicine “manages” Crohn’s with operations that remove vital organs or parts of the gastrointestinal tract, and it uses pharmaceuticals with side effects.'

'The kidneys are one of the most important organs in the human body. The kidneys help to detox and filter impurities from the blood, as well as waste products from your urine. Kidney stones form when the kidneys are not able to process toxins efficiently. Specifically, a crystallization of unprocessed minerals builds up. Kidney stones cause pain and possible blockage of urine flow.

The following are some simple natural remedies that may help soothe the discomfort of kidney stones and speed up the body’s natural healing process.'

Magnesium Lowers Colorectal Cancer Risk

Magnesium Lowers Colorectal Cancer Risk

'An astounding 70% or more of Americans are deficient in the essential mineral magnesium. Low levels can have deadly effects.

Epidemiologic studies have suggested that low magnesium may be associated with higher rates of colorectal cancer among other diseases. Now a meta-analysis confirms that higher magnesium intakes are associated with a lower risk of colorectal cancer and especially colon cancer.

Researchers from Soochow University in China analyzed eight prospective studies covering 338,979 participants. Their results, published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition, found the highest average intake of magnesium was associated with an 11% reduction in colorectal cancer risk compared to the lowest average intake.'

Vaccination tyranny in a maternity ward: Your newborn gets the Hep-B shot or we take him

 http://stoptheusmadness.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/vaccine.jpg

'The vaccination for the hepatitis B virus (HBV) has been traced as the source of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) on hundreds of occasions. There are probably many more. So what do you do if a hospital pediatrician threatens to take your newborn baby from you if you reject the HBV vaccination?

It is often administered just after birth and usually repeated three times over the next six months. Even if it were an effective vaccine, it would be useless unless the mother is infected with hepatitis B, which is purportedly transmitted through injections with shared drug paraphernalia and/or promiscuous sex.'

Cannabis oil from marijuana is having success treating COPD

 http://img.webmd.com/dtmcms/live/webmd/consumer_assets/site_images/articles/health_tools/copd_overview_slideshow/getty_rf_photo_of_lung_cancer.jpg

'COPD is the often used term for "Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease," a rather clumsy and vague description for most of us. It includes a few different lung issues, such as emphysema, bronchiectasis and chronic bronchitis. The scary part is that it's a mystery to our pharmaceutical-dependent medical system. And it gets progressively worse, often leading to death.

It's third in disease death rates, behind only heart disease and cancer. COPD creates constricted airways in one's lungs or renders small lung sacks inelastic and unable to fully accommodate breathing cycles; thus, there is obstruction.'

DIY Homemade Vanilla Bean Extract

diyvanillaextract

'This must be one of the most simplest recipes you can do! Pure 100% vanilla beans extract is expensive, and with the same amount of money you can buy all the ingredients and make it yourself, pure, natural and organic! They make great gifts too!

I personally like to place the organic vanilla beans in a large bottle(s) because you will need to shake the bottle(s) every week (1 -2 per week), for the entire duration of storing. Now if you make many small bottles in advance, that would be a lot of shaking vs having one or two large bottles, you can always transfer them into small decorative bottles for gifts later.

I get about a pound of organic vanilla beans which is an incredible amount of beans. Recipes seem to recommend anywhere from 3 to 6 beans per cup of alcohol. I used 6 and still had enough beans to make this recipe 5 or 6 times over, I like to put more for that dark rich taste.'

'The news surrounding cannabis extract medicine, particularly the use of high-CBD oils for epileptic conditions in children, has been steadily increasing since the release of Sanjay Gupta’s documentary on August 11th, 2013. Most recently, a Decmber 3, 2013 Huffington Post Live segment featured Joel Stanley (Co-founder and CEO of Realm of Caring), Heather Jackson (Executive Director), and Holli Brown.Holli discussed the experience of her child Sydni, who began experiencing seizures at the age of 4. Iodine Prevents and Heals Breast Cancer

 women

'There is a lot of mystery and confusion surrounding iodine’s importance and safety as a supplement, which is unfortunate since there’s so little of it in our foods. And Iodized salt is not a good way to get iodine into your system.

So dispelling the misinformation and disinformation is necessary.
Iodine’s RDA (Recommended Dietary Allowance) is 150 mcg (micrograms) per day. Dr. Guy Abraham, who initially mentored Dr. David Brownstien, author of The Iodine Crisis and Iodine: Why You Need It, Why You Can’t Live Without It, insists we should be taking in 12.5 mg (milligrams) daily. This is 100 times greater than our RDA.

But it is also the estimated amount per individual intake from seaweed and seafood among Japan’s population. Japan has the lowest rates of thyroid, prostate, and breast cancer. Some might argue that the Japanese get their iodine from food, but that supplements are unsafe.'

What's New and Beneficial About Onions

http://lifehackery.com/qimages/5/onions.jpg

'If you’ve been eating an apple a day to keep the doctor away, you would be wise to add an onion a day to that regimen. This humble vegetable is a member of the Allium genus, making it closely related to other superfoods like garlic, leeks, scallions, and chives.

This means onions are rich in sulfur-containing compounds that give them both their characteristic odor and much of their health-boosting potential.

As one of the oldest cultivated plants, onions do not disappoint in terms of nutrition. They’re a very good source of vitamins C and B6, iron, folate, and potassium. But it’s their phytochemicals – including the flavonoid quercetin and allyl disulphide – that are most exciting to researchers.'

10 Reasons You Should Be Eating Romaine Lettuce Above All Others

 http://www.whatsontheplate.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/rommaine-lettuce-salad-l.jpg

'Green leaf, red leaf, butterhead and iceberg are just a few common types of lettuce available at most markets. However, in terms of nutrient density, none are healthier than Romaine.

There are plenty of other green leafs which are even healthier such as spinach, kale, arugula, radicchio, endive etc, but for common lettuce types, romaine is king. Leafy greens in general are likely the number one food you can eat to regularly help improve your health.

If you start your meal with a salad made of romaine lettuce you will be sure to add not only a variety of textures and flavors to your meal but an enormous amount of nutritional value. Most of the domestic U.S. harvest of romaine lettuce and other salad greens comes from California and is available throughout the year.'

Sulfur is the Missing Link for Good Health

'Health gurus have long said that if you give your body what it needs, you will live a long and disease free life.  This means making sure you are getting optimal levels of all nutrients, including sulfur.  Why the attention to sulfur? It’s because sulfur intake is critical to good health, and we don’t get much of it from our diets due to modern farming methods not replacing it in the soils in which our food is grown, even if it’s organic.

What can sulfur do?'

New Study Links GMO Food To Leukemia

'A groundbreaking new study published in the current issue of the Journal of Hematology & Thromboembolic Diseases reveals the potential "leukemogenic" properties of the Bt toxin biopesticides engineered into the vast majority of GMO food crops already within the US food supply.

Last September, the causal link between cancer and genetically modified food was confirmed in a French study, the first independent long-term animal feeding study not commissioned by the biotech corporations themselves. The disturbing details can be found here: New Study Finds GM Corn and Roundup Causes Cancer In Rats

Now, a new study published in the Journal of Hematology & Thromboembolic Diseases indicates that the biopesticides engineered into GM crops known as Bacillus Thuringensis (Bt) or Cry-toxins, may also contribute to blood abnormalities from anemia to hematological malignancies (blood cancers) such as leukemia.[i]'

Inclined Bed Therapy started to spread across the internet in 2005 by the work of three heros in alternative medicine. Namely Andrew Fletcher who discovered IBT, and was quickly supported by Chris Gupta from Share The Wealth and Brian McInturff ND from ElectricHerbalism.com.

I (Ken Uzzell - Physical Therapies, Nutritionist and Trauma Release Therapist) was quick to jump in fourth place as I discovered Xtreme help and support for the entire human system and frame. The evidence is in, and since observing hundreds of clients and reading many reports by people trying IBT have become more than surprised with the overall health benefits provided. No other therapy today can offer so much help with so little resources.'

Reinventing Humanity – A New World Order Wet Dream

‘Synthetic food, synthetic voice, synthetic body, synthetic memory, synthetic brain, synthetic everything. That is what we are headed for at an increasingly accelerated rate. We are losing our humanity minute by minute and replacing it with technology. This is not an accident. No, it is quite intentional. We are being programmed to accept the theory that technology is somehow better than nature, and that those who use it are superior to those who don’t, when in actuality, we are becoming hopelessly dependent on it.

There is nothing wrong with technology when it is used as a tool for accomplishing worthy goals. However, there is a big difference between using it in a positive, beneficial way, and as a manipulative tool to create terminal dependence as a way of life.'

Cancer Treatment Found in Ancient Resin

'We have all known someone who has had cancer or currently is battling it. It seems cancer rates are on the rise and the ‘cure’ has been deemed by the medical industry, as no where in site. Luckily, nature always finds a way. Whether or not we hear it from the ‘Cancer Society’ or not, should not really matter. Studies have been done and research is in, cancer treatment has been found in the ancient resin of frankincense – distilled as an essential oil

That’s right, the same oil that was supposedly gifted baby Jesus, along with gold and myrrh, has been found to have powerful healing capacity, maybe there is something to that story. Frankincense, especially oil distilled from the species found in Oman, has been shown to eliminate every type of cancer cell it has come in contact with – leaving the healthy cells alone.'

How To Stop Overthinking – 9 Simple Habits

'What is holding people back from the life that they truly want to live?

I’d say that one very common and destructive thing is that they think too much.

They overthink every little problem until it becomes bigger and scarier and it actually is. Overthink positive things until they don’t look so positive anymore.

Or overanalyze and deconstruct things and so the happiness that comes from just enjoying something in the moment disappears.

Now, thinking things through can be a great thing of course. But being an overthinker can result in becoming someone who stands still in life. In becoming someone who self-sabotages the good things that happen in life.

I know. I used to overthink things a lot and it held me back in ways that weren’t fun at all.'

'Detoxification is meant to rejuvenate the mind and body and positively impact well being and clarity. However, sometimes the initial reaction to a detoxification program can be anything but pleasant. The process of healing sometimes includes a healing crisis, also known as the detox reaction, the cleansing reaction, and the Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction. During a healing crisis, you can feel even worse than before you started your detox program. The good news is that this reaction is likely a sign that you’re getting better by way of a deep and thorough cleansing.'

'You may think there is enough disease in the world already, and that no one would want to add to the diseases that we humans must deal with. But there is a powerful industry in our society that is working overtime to invent illnesses and to convince us we are suffering from them.

This effort is known as "disease mongering," a term introduced by health-science writer Lynn Payer in her 1992 book Disease-Mongers: How Doctors, Drug Companies, and Insurers Are Making You Feel Sick. Payer defined disease mongering as "trying to convince essentially well people that they are sick, or slightly sick people that they are very ill."'

New Study Says Honey Beats Antibiotic Prescription Drugs

'There has been plenty in the news about superbugs, strains of bacteria that have become resistant to antibiotic drugs because of their overuse.  But there has not been much offered as a solution to this problem until now.  A new study is showing that honey can supply the best antibiotic protection without any unwanted side effects.

“The unique property of honey lies in its ability to fight infection on multiple levels, making it more difficult for bacteria to develop resistance,” reported lead researcher Susan M. Meschwitz Ph.D.  The study’s findings were presented last month to the 247th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society, the world’s largest scientific society.'

This Is Your Brain On Aspartame

'Controversy continues to rage over the artificial sweetener aspartame. Since it was first approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1981, aspartame has made its way into more than 6,000 food items.

The FDA claims aspartame is safe but has set an acceptable daily intake of no more than 50 mg per kilogram of body weight. In other words, an adult weighing 165 pounds should consume no more than 3,750 mg of aspartame a day.

A can of diet soda typically contains about 180 mg of the chemical. That means the FDA’s “safe” limit equates to about 21 cans of diet soda per day.

But is any level of aspartame really safe?'

Black Sapote; The Chocolate Pudding Fruit

Important Editor's Note: There is a delicious Black Sapote pudding recipe included in this article, however do not use agave (not really healthy research) -instead use honey or genuine maple syrup. Also use organic, raw milk and or cream if possible or at least use organic. pastured cream/milk.

'Once you open a ripe black sapote (Diospyris dignia) you can see why it is called “chocolate pudding fruit.” The deep rich brown smooth pulp with its spoon-like consistency looks exactly like chocolate pudding.

I am often asked, “What does it taste like?” I want to reply that it tastes exactly what it tastes like but this does not help the unwary. So, for those of you who must know what something tastes like before you venture into unknown territory, it has a sweet and mild flavor and with a little imagination you can actually taste chocolate as well as hints of coffee.'

Big Pharma Mafia: Deadly Medicines and Organised Crime

Is Big Pharma like the Mafia? Cochrane Medical Journal founder says YES.

'Removal of drugs should usually not be accompanied by the introduction of other types of treatment. Many patients would gain a better quality of life if their drugs were taken away from them. What we need is to remember Brian McFerrin’s song: “Don’t worry, be happy”.

We shall all die, but we should remember to live while we are here without worrying that some day in the future we might get ill. It is daunting how many healthy people are put on drugs that lower blood pressure or cholesterol, and it changes people from healthy citizens to patients who may start worrying about their good health.

This can have profound psychological consequences apart from the side effects of the drugs that the patients don’t always realise are side effects, e.g. if they get more tired or depressed after starting antihypertensive therapy or experience problems in their sex life.'

The Vaccination Hoax

'The history of vaccination is more complicated than most people understand. The anti-vaccine movement is hundreds of years old. It heated up in the 1800s, when parents in the UK became fed up with watching their healthy infants and children become ill or die shortly after the smallpox vaccinations or get sick from smallpox anyway.

Parents and doctors who refused smallpox vaccines, risked losing their homes, their furniture and their livelihoods if Judges found against them.

The smallpox vaccines were made from pus scraped off of diseased cows’ belly sores, contaminated with disease matter from a variety of animals and in some cases, humans. The smallpox vaccine history is not what you think it is, if you think vaccines wiped out smallpox.'

Psychoneuroimmunology—How Inflammation Affects Your Mental Health

By Dr. Kelly Brogan

'Psychoneuroimmunology. This is what I aim to practice. Medical terms of this length command our respect for the interconnectedness of different subspecialties, for the futile segmentation and compartmentalization of the body into different organ systems.

As discussed in this previous article I wrote for Dr. Mercola, deconstructing the serotonin model of depression, psychiatry is in a crisis. It can no longer stand on its own, throwing more and more medications at its perceived target.

It seems, therefore, fitting that psychiatry would follow the investigative path of other lifestyle-triggered chronic diseases such as cancer, autoimmunity, and heart disease. There already exists a bidirectional relationship between all of the major chronic diseases and psychiatric diagnoses (patients who struggle with chronic diseases are more likely to be depressed and vice versa).

The role of inflammation, across these disease states, is better elucidated each day. Let's deconstruct what is known as it applies to mental health.'

'I have always felt that many of our health problems are caused by a Physical, Chemical or Emotional trauma to our autonomic nervous system. I discovered this phenomenon in 1979 while working with Migraine Headache patients. They had a very common statement “ever since” which was followed by an account of a physical, emotional or chemical event. In 1980 I started on a journey around the world.

I returned home in 1982 and went back into practice without finding a scientific answer.

In 1979 Dr. Ryke Hamer also made a very similar discovery. He has spent his life trying to prove this phenomenon to the scientific community. I hope that by reading the following article you will have a better understanding of why I rely so heavily on the patient history.'

'Dear Parents, You are being lied to. There are pharmaceutical companies who claim to be acting in the best interests of your children, but they’re putting your health and even lives at risk for the sake of profits. There are some doctors, who, despite not being trained on the history of, lack of science behind, adverse reactions, or additives in vaccinations, refuse to read the package inserts and contrary scientific evidence, and do not inform you of the true risks of a vaccine so you can make an educated decision. You’re being lied to…because you’re told you’re just a parent, and you don’t have a say.'

Place Mushrooms in Sunlight to Get Your Vitamin D

Agaricus brasiliensis

'Vitamin D is an essential vitamin that boosts the immune system and plays vital roles in human metabolism. Did you know that tasty mushrooms are one source for vitamin D, and that you can naturally multiply their levels by exposing them to sunlight?

We evolved living in more sunlight than today. We make our own vitamin D when sunlight hits our skin cells. Many people living in the northern hemisphere, however, suffer from lower levels of vitamin D during the fall, winter and spring. Fortunately, you can make your own supply of vitamin D-enriched mushrooms by simply exposing them to sunlight.'
